Do you want to learn how to make homemade cleaning wipes in 3 easy steps? The two ingredients you will need are easy to get at the store or on Amazon. With empty store shelves and not a single cleaning wipe insight, I had to get a little creative. Especially, when the Lysol is missing in action too! This what I do when I can’t find sanitizing cleaning wipes at the store.
How to Make Homemade Cleaning Wipes
You will need:
- 1 package of Unscented Baby Wipes (100 counts)
- 2 cups of Bleach
- 1 cup Water
Directions:
1) Open the baby wipes according to the package instructions.
2) Put the baby wipe package in the sink and pour in water and bleach.
3) Close the baby wipe package, shake or squish the package to mix.
Warning: Do not use on fabric surfaces the bleach will discolor it. Wash hands after use before touching fabric or clothing, to avoid bleach discoloration.
I also have other posts that have instructions for making a no-sew face mask, hand sanitizer, and cleaning spray to help you out.

A Little Bit of History
Did you know this isn’t the first time the USA has faced a health crisis! Pandemics have happened before in our history but we didn’t always have hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes, and cleaning spray back then. Many of these outbreaks happened due to poor cleaning and sanitation practices. Here is a list of the outbreaks we had in USA history.
